Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang, on April 10, chaired a meeting to listen to and give opinions on issues relating to planning and projects in the province.

Attending the meeting were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Phuoc Hien and leaders of relevant departments, sectors and localities.

After listening to the opinions of the delegates at the meeting, the PPC’s Chairman requested the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks to promptly complete the planning projects, submit to the PPC for consideration, then submit to the Provincial People's Council.

The Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks also informed the Feasibility Study Report on the infrastructure construction for the resettlement areas and grave reburial areas to serve projects in Binh Thanh Industrial, Service and Urban Areas.
Regarding this content, the PPC’s Chairman Nguyen Hoang Giang asked the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks to coordinate with the Department of Construction to provide relevant documents, ensuring sufficient conditions to conduct the appraisal of the project's feasibility study report in accordance with regulations.

Also at the meeting, the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks, the investor and consultant units presented the 1/2000 scale construction zoning plan of An Phu Industrial - Urban - Service Complex, Tu Nghia District.

The planning’s objective is to form an Industrial Park in Tu Nghia district, Quang Ngai province, with main fields, including manufacturing equipment, data transmission components, semiconductor chip technology components and other peripheral devices.
The total land area is about 393.53 hectares in Nghia Ky commune (371.17 hectares) and Nghia Thuan commune (22.33 hectares).
After listening to the opinions of the investor and consultant units, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang highly appreciated the investor's investment idea as it’s consistent with the province's development orientation.
Giang also requested the investor and the consultant to review comments from departments, sectors and localities to complete the planning projects soon; meanwhile, he asked related agencies and units to support and create the best conditions for the investor in the process of studying, planning and investing in the project.
