Quang Ngai achieves the growth rate of more than 8% in the first quarter
In the first quarter of 2025, the Gross Regional Domestic Product of Quang Ngai province (GRDP) was estimated to reach more than 14,000 billion VND, an increase of 8.07 per cent over the same period last year. However, it has not reached the expected plan (8.32 per cent).
The industrial production index in the first quarter of 2025 increased by 12.17 per cent over the same period.
The province's export turnover in the first 3 months of this year was estimated at more than 675 million USD, down 2.8 per cent over the same period.
The whole province has only disbursed about 387 billion VND of public investment capital, equal to 7.3 per cent of the assigned capital plan, lower than the general disbursement rate of the whole country.
The province welcomed 440,000 visitors in the firrst quarter, up 36 per cent over the same period, with revenue increasing by 40 per cent.
