On the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of the Ba To Uprising (March 11, 1945 - March 11, 2025), on March 11, at the Ba To District Traditional House, the District People's Committee coordinated with Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company to inaugurate Ba To Digital Library.
Attending the inauguration ceremony were Lieutenant General Trinh Dinh Thach, Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Military Region 5; Major General Le Ngoc Hai, Deputy Party Secretary, Commander of Military Region 5.
Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Bui Thi Quynh Van, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial NA Delegation Dang Ngoc Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Hong Minh, former leaders of the province, former leaders of Military Region 5, leaders of departments, sectors and localities in the province also attended the event.
Speaking at the event, Chairman of Ba To District People's Committee Pham Giang Nam said that the Digital Library will change the traditional operation of the library, creating valuable information products to meet the increasing needs of readers.
The library will also help to develop education and improve community knowledge, promote learning and research, create conditions for students, civil servants and people in the district to access rich sources of documents quickly in the context of information technology development.
Supported by Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company, Ba To Digital Library was invested with more than 1,000 books. This is the project to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of Ba To Uprising and the 50th Anniversary of Quang Ngai Liberation.
After being inaugurated, the Digital Library is handed over to the District Information - Culture - Sports Center for management and operation.
