The Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Binh Son District convened to assess the progress of implementing the plan to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the district. Nguyen Tuong Duy, Secretary of the Binh Son District Party Committee and Head of the Steering Committee, presided over the meeting.
Binh Son district currently has 564 temporary and dilapidated houses that need to be supported for repair and new construction, with a total cost of nearly 25 billion VND.
In addition to the State budget, Party committees and authorities at all levels in Binh Son district have actively mobilized support from other sources.
As of mid-April 2025, the whole district has repaired and built 151 houses, including 80 new houses.
So far, nearly 30 houses have been completed and put into use.
Secretary Nguyen Tuong Duy of Binh Son District Party Committee suggested that communes and towns strengthen leadership and implementation of house construction under the program in the area, while focusing on implementing housing policies for people with revolutionary contributions and martyrs' relatives, and striving to complete the set goals before June 15, 2025.
