Standing Vice Chairwoman Y Ngọc inspects preparations for Măng Đen Culture and Tourism Week

On December 26, in Măng Đen Commune, Y Ngọc, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Committee, inspected preparations for the Măng Đen Culture and Tourism Week and Cherry Blossom Season 2026.

According to the plan, the event will take place from January 1 to 4, 2026, featuring a wide range of activities, including the hot air balloon festival “Flying Over Cherry Blossoms”, the art program “A New Day in Măng Đen”, the 2026 Măng Đen agricultural and medicinal products fair, sports and tourism experience activities, eco-tourism programs, and cultural events welcoming the New Year 2026.

The opening ceremony is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on January 1, 2026, and the closing ceremony for 8:00 p.m. on January 4, 2026, at the central area of Măng Đen Commune.

At the working session, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism reported that preparations have basically met requirements.

Relevant units are finalizing detailed scripts, arranging festival spaces, beautifying landscapes, displaying tourism and OCOP products, and synchronously implementing measures to ensure security, traffic management, fire prevention, medical services, food safety, power supply, communications, and event promotion.

Speaking at the inspection, Standing Vice Chairwoman Y Ngọc emphasized that this is a significant cultural and tourism event, contributing to promoting the image of Măng Đen, creating a highlight for tourism activities at the beginning of 2026, and fostering the province’s tourism development.

She assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to fully absorb feedback and urgently finalize the plan, with particular attention to developing detailed scenarios for each activity, clearly defining responsibilities of agencies and units, avoiding overlap, and ensuring safety for residents and visitors throughout the event, so that the Măng Đen Culture and Tourism Week and Cherry Blossom Season 2026 will be held in a solemn, practical, effective, safe, and economical manner.
