Senior Lieutenant General Trần Quang Phương, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, on May 31 visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiary families in Sơn Tịnh District, Quảng Ngãi Province.
He was accompanied by Member of the Party Central Committee and Provincial Party Secretary Bùi Thị Quỳnh Vân, Colonel Trần Thế Phan – Commander of the Provincial Military Command, and local leaders.
The delegation visited and gave gifts to Trần Thị Quê (81), a martyr’s relative; wounded soldier Huỳnh Soạn (93) in Minh Mỹ Hamlet, Tịnh Bắc Commune; wounded soldier Bùi Thanh Long (68) in Diên Niên Hamlet; and Trần Thị Lan (79), a martyr’s relative in An Thọ Hamlet, Tịnh Sơn Commune.
Vice Chairman Phương expressed his deep gratitude for the sacrifices and contributions of war invalids, martyrs, and revolution contributors.
He encouraged families to uphold their revolutionary traditions and inspire younger generations to strive in education, work, and local development.
He reaffirmed that the Party, State, and people always remember the great sacrifices made for national liberation and development, which serves as a spiritual pillar for future generations.
He also called on Sơn Tịnh authorities to continue supporting policy beneficiaries, especially those living alone or facing difficulties.
