On June 5, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Trần Phước Hiền, chaired a meeting to give opinions on the clean water supply system project serving Sa Huỳnh residential area.

According to the representative of Sa Huỳnh Water Supply Service Joint Stock Company, the project was approved by the PPC in Decision No. 2141/QD-UBND dated December 1, 2015, aiming to provide clean water to people in Phổ Thạnh ward, Đức Phổ town.
The project also aims at serving the exploitation of aquatic products and providing water for boats.
This project has a designed capacity of 2,500 m³ per day and night, with a total investment of more than VNĐ 50 billion.
The investor actively implemented related procedures on land, environment, and construction right after the project was approved.

The project’s investor proposed that the PPC should pay attention to and support rural clean water supply activities following current legal regulations to ensure the harmony of interests of enterprises in the agricultural and rural sectors, and promptly remove difficulties during the project implementation process.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Trần Phước Hiền, acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the investor in implementing the project, receiving positive evaluation from local authorities and people.
Hiền also said that the project has contributed to improving living conditions and enhancing the quality of life of the people in the area.
The PPC’s Vice Chairman assigned the Department of Finance to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to review the company's proposal on price support, ensuring conditions for maintaining stable and long-term water supply activities, then report to the PPC for consideration.
He also asked the People's Committees of Đức Phổ Town and Phổ Thạnh Ward to coordinate with Sa Huỳnh Water Supply Service Joint Stock Company in changing living habits, contributing to forming awareness of saving and effectively using clean water.
