In his newly-promulgated document, the Chairman of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People's Committee has approved a project of supporting 10 RO pure drinking water filtration systems for schools and donating 100 bicycles for poor, near-poor and disadvantaged students at schools in Quảng Ngãi province. This project is sponsored by Children of Vietnam (CoV).
Accordingly, this project will be implemented by the Quảng Ngãi Provincial Children's Fund from May 2025 to May 2026.
As committted, CoV supports 10 water filtration systems at nine schools in Ba Tơ and Sơn Tây mountainous districts, including: (1) Ba Tơ Town Primary School; (2) Ba Động Kindergarten; (3) Ba Ngạc Kindergarten; (4) Ba Dinh Kindergarten; (5) Ba Thành Kindergarten; (6) Sơn Tinh Primary and Secondary School; (7) Sơn Long Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities; (8) Sơn Tân Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities; and (9) Sơn Dung Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities. CoV also presents 100 bicycles to poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged students at schools in the districts of Sơn Tịnh, Tư Nghĩa, and Mộ Đức.
The objective of the project is to improve access to and use of safe and sustainable water sources at schools; improve health conditions and reduce infections or diseases caused by unsafe water use; help schools gradually improve their facilities to strive to achieve and maintain National Standard Schools; and support bicycles to school to help students and their families overcome difficulties in life and strive to achieve high academic achievements.
Total capital of the project is about VNĐ 717,500,000, equivalent to US$ 28,700, sponsored by CoV.

As assigned, the Quảng Ngãi Provincial Children's Fund is responsible for organizing and coordinating with the sponsor, relevant agencies and units to receive and implement the project in compliance with the provisions of law and commitments to the sponsor. Additionally, they are asked to organize the direct handover of RO pure water filtration systems and bicycles to the beneficiaries according to the sponsorship commitment letter and strictly comply with the regulations on financial management. They should monitor and evaluate the goals and results of the project, ensuring security and social order, and report the implementation results to the Provincial People's Committee in accordance with regulations.
