On October 8, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Committee Y Ngọc worked with Dục Nông commune to review socio-economic development, national defense and security in the first nine months of 2025 and outline upcoming tasks.
Since the implementation of the two-tier local government model, Dục Nông commune has operated effectively, achieving positive economic results, strengthening poverty reduction and social welfare, advancing administrative reform and digital transformation, and maintaining security and social order.
To realize the Resolution of the Commune Party Congress for 2025–2030, the Commune Party Committee has launched key programs on enhancing internal affairs, national defense, and security, developing synchronized infrastructure, especially rural transport and agricultural-ecotourism links, and promoting sustainable agriculture through science and technology.
Vice Chairwoman Y Ngọc praised the commune’s efforts in streamlining its apparatus and workforce. She urged prompt adjustments to the master plan, sustainable crop and livestock restructuring, and stronger market linkages for local farm products.
She also requested continued attention to education in ethnic minority areas and preservation of traditional culture.
Y Ngọc called on Dục Nông commune to maintain unity and determination in building a comprehensive, strong border commune. At the same time, departments and agencies were requested to work closely to support and address local challenges.
