PPC’s Chairman Nguyễn Hoàng Giang receives leaders of Doosan Enerbility Vietnam and HD Hyundai Vietnam
Quảng Ngãi - Chairman of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Hoàng Giang on August 25 received Kim Hyo Tae, General Director of Doosan Enerbility Vietnam (Doosan Vina), along with representatives from HD Hyundai Vietnam.
Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Dung Quất Economic Zone and Quảng Ngãi Industrial Parks Authority, Lương Kim Sơn, also attended the meeting.
At the reception, Mr. Kim Hyo Tae briefed the provincial leader on Doosan Vina’s recent operations and expressed his gratitude for the attention, support, and favorable conditions that the provincial authorities have provided to the company’s business and production activities.
Through Doosan Vina’s introduction, representatives of HD Hyundai Vietnam presented an overview of Hyundai Group in general and HD Hyundai’s operations in Việt Nam in particular.
They expressed their desire to cooperate with Doosan Vina in investing in a plant to manufacture auxiliary equipment for the shipbuilding industry at the Dung Quất Economic Zone.
According to HD Hyundai Vietnam, the project, if implemented, would create many job opportunities for local workers, contribute to the socio-economic development of Quảng Ngãi Province, and further strengthen the cooperative and friendly relations between Việt Nam and the Republic of Korea.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman Nguyễn Hoàng Giang highly appreciated Doosan Vina’s contributions to the development of Quảng Ngãi.
He emphasized that Doosan Vina is one of the exemplary FDI enterprises at the Dung Quất Economic Zone, not only successful in producing high-tech products for domestic use and export but also actively participating in social and charitable activities in the locality.
He affirmed that Doosan Vina’s introduction and connection of Korean investors to Quảng Ngãi is an honor for the province.
Chairman Nguyễn Hoàng Giang stressed that Hyundai is a globally reputable corporation, and therefore, the province wishes to see Hyundai invest in Quảng Ngãi.
He requested that in the coming time, the company work closely with the Dung Quất Economic Zone and Quảng Ngãi Industrial Parks Authority to agree on the next steps for implementation. Quảng Ngãi Province is committed to always accompanying and providing maximum support for investors to facilitate their research and execution of projects in the province.
Concluding the meeting, Chairman Nguyễn Hoàng Giang expressed his thanks to Doosan Vina and hoped that Mr. Kim Hyo Tae would continue to serve as an important bridge to attract more Korean enterprises to explore opportunities and invest in Quảng Ngãi.
He affirmed that the province will always act promptly to resolve difficulties and create the most favorable conditions for FDI enterprises in general, and Doosan Vina in particular, to operate effectively and sustainably while contributing to the overall development of Quảng Ngãi.
