QUẢNG NGÃI — Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Trần Phước Hiền on January 6 held a working session with the Office of the Provincial People’s Committee to review recent performance and outline key tasks for the coming period.
The meeting was attended by Chief of the Office Nguyễn Quốc Việt, deputy chiefs and heads of divisions and units under the Office.
Reporting at the meeting, Nguyễn Quốc Việt said the Office had closely followed conclusions and directions issued by the Provincial People’s Committee, its Chairman and Vice Chairpersons.
The Office has also effectively operated the province’s digital system for monitoring and managing directives, while maintaining efficient operations at its second facility and ensuring proper management and use of public assets.
Several proposals were raised, including collecting opinions from members of the Provincial People’s Committee via the paperless meeting system, allocating civil servant and public employee staffing quotas for 2026, and adding personnel for the Provincial Gazette and Informatics Centre.
Heads of divisions and units reported on their recent results and highlighted difficulties and challenges encountered during task implementation.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman Trần Phước Hiền commended the Office for its achievements and urged it to focus on key priorities in the time ahead.
He also called for closer coordination with the Office of the Provincial Party Committee and the Office of the National Assembly Deputies and Provincial People’s Council to ensure consistency and synchronisation in work programmes.
The Office was asked to proactively advise and report emerging grassroots issues, strengthen citizen reception and complaint handling, maintain security and order, and continue addressing difficulties faced by businesses.
The Vice Chairman stressed the need to enhance the quality of advisory work, ensure meetings are well-prepared, substantive and efficient, and publish timely information on the provincial e-portal.
He highlighted the importance of developing a concrete digital transformation product in 2026 with broad applicability and spillover effects.
