Quảng Ngãi Provincial Veterans Association and the Veterans Association of Champasak Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic have just held a conference to review two years of implementing the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation for the period 2023-2027 in Champasak, Lao PDR and set major tasks in cooperation direction in the coming time between the two sides.
At the meeting, the leaders of two sides discussed each other's socio-economic development situation and exchanged experiences in the movement of veterans to help each other to do business to improve their lives. They also proposed cooperation solutions in the coming time, organized study tours to learn about skillful mass mobilization models, and visited historical sites in Champasak.

In the framework of the visit, the Quảng Ngãi Provincial Veterans Association handed over two compassion houses, worth VNĐ 200 million, in Nang-Suoc village, Khong district, Champasak province, funded by the Veterans Association of Quảng Ngãi province. .
Besides, the Quảng Ngãi Provincial Veterans Association signed a document to support the construction of two compasion houses in 2025 for members of the Veterans Association of Champasak Province with housing difficulties.
Over the past few years, through cooperation activities, the Quảng Ngãi Provincial Veterans Association has organized working delegations to visit and support the Champasak Provincial Veterans Association to purchase equipment for the association's work and help members of the Association with difficult circumstances.
The provincial Veterans Association has actively built a close and good relationship with the Champasak Provincial Veterans Association, thereby, contributing to deepening the special solidarity and friendship between the two countries of Vietnam and Laos.
