From February 12-16, Doosan Vina cooperated with Chung Ang University to carry out the 10th educational charity program at two primary schools in Binh Son district, Quang Ngai province.
Doosan Vina and Chung Ang donates teaching equipment worth nearly 60 million VND to Binh Hai and Binh My Primary schools
The program included two main activities: educational support and Korean art performances presented by 39 students from Chung Ang University, Korea, with translation support from 10 students from Duy Tan University (Da Nang City) and five staff from Doosan Vina.
At each school, the delegation donated teaching equipment including one laptop and one 55-inch TV with a total value of more than 56 million VND.
The delegation also guided students in singing and dancing, playing folk games, and decorating schools.
Especially, the art performance program was imbued with the typical culture of Korea through K-pop performances, singing and dancing, taekwondo, traditional music, etc.
In addition, the delegation carried out environmental improvement activities by repainting school gates, painting stair railings, and planting flowers and trees on school campuses.

On the last day of the program, the delegation carried out a general cleaning and tree planting around the memorial site of the Massacre Site in An Cuong village, Binh Hai commune and a general cleaning of the An Cuong beach area (Binh Son, Quang Ngai).
Educational charity is one of the three core social activities besides healthcare and housing that Doosan Vina and Chung Ang University have been carrying out in Vietnam since 2009, aiming to actively contribute to improving healthcare, education, housing and building a greener and cleaner living environment for the community in Quang Ngai province.
