Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyễn Đức Tâm visits the Sáu Nhung Cooperative.

Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Đức Tâm visited several cooperatives and agricultural production models in Đăk Hà and Đăk Mar communes on the morning of October 11.

In Đăk Hà Commune, Tâm visited Sáu Nhung Cooperative, which manages 300 hectares of organic coffee farms and has 113 members. The cooperative earns an average annual revenue of VNĐ 21.1 billion.

It currently has six products rated three or four stars under the One Commune One Product (OCOP) programme.

Sáu Nhung Special Coffee product was recognised as an outstanding rural industrial product at the national level in 2025.

Tâm praised the cooperative’s efforts and called on local authorities to address its difficulties and effectively implement support policies to help it expand production and develop sustainably.

In Đăk Mar Commune, Tâm visited a 24-hectare farm owned by Nguyễn Văn Thanh’s family in Tân Lập A Village.

The farm includes 13.5 hectares of durian, mainly Ri6 and Monthong varieties, and 10.5 hectares of macadamia trees.

The crops are grown using sustainable farming practices and modern agricultural techniques.

In 2026, the farm has produced nearly 300 tonnes of durian and more than 15 tonnes of macadamia nuts from its first harvest, generating a net profit of over VNĐ4 billion.

It also provides regular jobs for about 10 local workers, each earning nearly VNĐ 10 million a month.

Tâm praised the farm’s economic performance and called on local authorities and the agricultural sector to support technology transfer, promote safe agricultural production and strengthen links between farmers and buyers to ensure stable markets.

He also urged local authorities to improve transport infrastructure, promote local agricultural products and expand sales through e-commerce platforms to reach more customers, increase farmers’ incomes and support modern, sustainable agricultural development.
