Despite ongoing challenges, the province achieved encouraging results in the first nine months of 2026, with GRDP growth of 9.16 per cent, industrial production increasing 14.3 per cent year on year, and more than 5.5 million tourist arrivals, up approximately 60 per cent. The two-tier local government model has also gradually stabilized, helping improve conditions for residents and businesses.
On behalf of provincial leaders, the PPC’s Chairman acknowledged the significant contributions of the business community and extended his best wishes to entrepreneurs on their special day. He expressed his hope that enterprises would continue to grow, strengthen their competitiveness and contribute further to the province’s development.
Following the merger, Quảng Ngãi has gained a larger development space, strengthening connections between coastal, lowland and mountainous areas and creating new opportunities in industry, trade, services, agriculture and border-gate economic activities. These advantages provide favorable conditions for investment attraction, production linkages and sustainable development.
Chairman Nguyễn Đức Tâm urged departments, agencies and local authorities to shift from a management-oriented approach to one focused on enabling development, proactively identifying and resolving business difficulties. Issues within their jurisdiction must be settled promptly and decisively, while those beyond their authority must be referred to competent agencies.
