Chairman Nguyễn Đức Tâm delivers remarks at the regular meeting on September 8 to review socio-economic performance, national defence and security in August
QUẢNG NGÃI — The Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Committee has set out key tasks and solutions for the remaining months of 2026, with a focus on promoting economic growth, accelerating public investment, advancing digital transformation and improving the investment and business environment.
Under Official Dispatch No. 9117/UBND-KTTH, issued following Conclusion No. 81-KL/TW of the Politburo, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Đức Tâm asked provincial departments, agencies and local administrations to effectively implement key socio-economic development tasks and strive to achieve the highest possible targets for 2026.
The province will focus on implementing solutions to achieve double-digit economic growth in the 2026–2030 period and concretize major resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee through specific programmes, mechanisms and policies.
Public investment disbursement and the implementation of key projects will be accelerated, with priority given to resolving difficulties related to compensation and site clearance to ensure project progress and quality.
Quảng Ngãi will also step up digital transformation and implement a 100-day action plan to address bottlenecks in digital transformation across the provincial political system.
The province aims to accelerate the development of digital infrastructure and improve connectivity and data sharing between provincial sectoral databases and national databases.
In education and social affairs, the province will focus on preparations for and implementation of the new 2026–2027 school year, accelerate the construction of boarding schools in border communes and improve vocational training and workforce development to better meet labour market needs.
The provincial authorities will also strengthen disaster preparedness and response, particularly during the storm and flood season, while ensuring support for affected communities and maintaining social security.
Quảng Ngãi will strengthen national defence and security while promoting economic diplomacy, cultural diplomacy and people-to-people diplomacy.
The province will step up efforts to promote its potential, advantages and investment and cooperation environment.
The provincial authorities will continue to address difficulties facing businesses and investment projects, improve tax administration, facilitate access to credit and promote a healthy and transparent real estate market.
Departments and local administrations have been asked to strengthen coordination, improve administrative efficiency and promptly resolve difficulties within their authority, contributing to the province’s socio-economic development in the remaining months of 2026.
