On August 18, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Công Hoàng and leaders of relevant departments, agencies, localities and units inspected the implementation of the project to upgrade and expand the transport infrastructure system in the Dung Quất Economic Zone.

Following the site inspection, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Công Hoàng asked relevant agencies and localities to focus on resolving difficulties and obstacles, particularly those related to compensation and site clearance, and to mobilize personnel and equipment to accelerate construction.
He also called for closer coordination, stronger public communication and mobilization to build consensus and facilitate the early handover of cleared sites for synchronized construction. Quality inspections and supervision must also be strengthened to ensure compliance with approved designs, technical standards and safety requirements.


The project’s site
For contractors, the Vice Chairman requested that they proactively develop solutions to overcome difficulties and adopt flexible, well-organized construction plans to take advantage of favorable weather conditions and accelerate progress.
The project investor was asked to closely monitor progress and promptly coordinate with relevant agencies and units to address emerging issues, striving to complete the project on schedule and put it into operation at the earliest possible time..
Once completed, the project is expected to help improve the transport infrastructure of the Dung Quất Economic Zone and create momentum for the province’s socio-economic development.
The project has a total construction length of approximately 9.6 km, comprising four urban-standard roads across the three communes of Bình Sơn, Vạn Tường and Thọ Phong, with a total investment of VNĐ350 billion.
To date, completed construction volume has reached approximately 19.4 per cent of the contract value.
