According to Quang Ngai Tax Department, in 2024, the unit developed AI Chatbox virtual assistant technology, integrating policy information for taxpayers to exploit through QR-Code scanning, helping taxpayers to look up information and tax administrative procedures quickly and conveniently on smart mobile phones.
In addition, Quang Ngai Tax Department has upgraded the eTax Mobile application and promoted the convenience and efficiency of installing, using, checking information, tax obligations and paying taxes.
So far, there have been 64,037 households and individuals in the province registering to pay e-taxes, including 57,282 households and individuals paying taxes via the eTax Mobile application with an amount of 438 billion VND.
In 2025, Quang Ngai Tax Department will deploy key solutions in tax management, focusing on researching the application of AI technology in tax management and propaganda.
Accordingly, the Tax Department will effectively implement the Project on electronic tax payment for individuals in Quang Ngai province for the period 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030.
