According to the Plan, by 2025, the province strives to mobilize and receive about 15,480 units of blood, expected to meet 100% of the blood volume for emergency and treatment needs.
The program will mobilize all people, with young people as the important force, who are eligible to participate in voluntary blood donation to meet the need for blood for emergency and treatment of patients.
The program also ensures blood transfusion safety and carries out activities to manage, care for, advise and honor voluntary blood donors.
The Head of the Steering Committee requested to propagate the meaning of blood donation to save lives through local mass media such as: Quang Ngai Radio - Television Station, Quang Ngai Newspaper, broadcasting systems of districts, towns, city, communes, wards and townships, Portals, Websites, Fanpages, Facebooks, Zalos and other visual propaganda forms such as billboards, banners, and posters.
The expected amount of blood received each month is from 1,100 to 1,400 units of blood.
