On January 16, a delegation from Champasak province (Laos) headed by Mr. Somboun Hueangvongsa - the Standing Member of the provincial Party Committee, the Deputy Governor of Champasak province paid a visit to Quang Ngai province on lunar new year occasion. Standing Vice Chairman of the PPC Tran Hoang Tuan received the delegation.
The Deputy Governor of Champasak province Somboun Hueangvongsa expressed his pleasure to visit Quang Ngai province on Vietnamese lunar new year and wished the Party Committee, authority and people of Quang Ngai province a joyful Tet holiday.
The Deputy Governor congratulated the province on socio-economic achievements and hoped that the special friendship and solidarity between the two countries in general as well as those between the two provinces in particular would be sustainable.
On behalf of Quang Ngai province leaders, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Hoang Tuan extended his sincere thanks to Champasak province’s Deputy Governor for the best wishes to the Party Committee, authority and people of Quang Ngai province on lunar new year occasion as well as special bilateral relations.
Tuan hopes that in 2025, the two provinces will continue to implement many specific cooperation programs, bringing practical benefits.
In addition to the field of education and training, the two provinces could share experiences in the fields of industry, agriculture, tourism, culture, etc., contributing to promoting people-to-people diplomacy activities of the two provinces.
