On March 20, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Hoang Giang, and leaders of functional departments inspected the progress of the Phu My Social Housing project located within the Phu My Urban Area in Quang Ngai City.
The project, funded by the investor HUD, involves the construction of two new nine-story towers that will provide approximately 384 houses across a total area of 15,567 m², with a total floor area of 36,700 m².
This development is expected to meet the housing needs of around 1,000 residents.
The total investment for the project is approximately 450 billion VND, with the implementation period set from 2025 to 2028.
During the site visit, Chairman Giang emphasized the need for the investors to allocate resources effectively.
He urged them to accelerate construction progress, maintain high construction quality, and facilitate access to social housing for residents.
The Quang Ngai Provincial Government is committed to addressing challenges faced by businesses and investors to ensure the swift implementation of social housing initiatives and to attract additional projects to the province.
Reportedly, the provincial government has focused on eliminating obstacles in investment procedures, land funding, and capital sources, and has had preferential policies to encourage businesses to participate in the development of social housing.
These efforts have led to the successful implementation of multiple projects that enhance the quality of life for workers in industrial parks.
Additionally, these developments are expected to alleviate pressure on urban infrastructure, attract further investment in industrial zones, and promote the province's socio-economic development.
