Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Ngọc Sâm, on October 7, chaired a meeting with leaders of relevant departments and localities to review the assignment of investors for projects in western communes and wards of Quảng Ngãi province.
The meeting was held both in person at the provincial headquarters and online with 14 local administrative units.
According to the Department of Construction, 15 projects are proposed to be reassigned from district-level to commune-level management to align with the two-tier local government model. The communes of Đăk Pék, Mô Rai, Đăk Rve, Kon Đào, Bờ Y, Măng Ri, Măng Đen, Đăk Rơ Wa, and Kon Tum ward will take over these projects.
After discussions, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Ngọc Sâm agreed to assign the nine localities as investors for the 15 transitional projects. He emphasized the need to accelerate administrative adjustments and ensure timely project implementation to promote infrastructure development in the western region.
The Vice Chairman assigned the Department of Construction to coordinate with localities to finalize project management adjustments for submission to the Provincial People’s Committee for approval, and urged communes and wards to proactively address difficulties and report issues for timely resolution.
