On the afternoon of October 11, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hồ Văn Niên visited and worked with VSIP Quảng Ngãi Co., Ltd.
Reportedly, phase 1A of the VSIP Quảng Ngãi Urban-Service Area Project, located in Trương Quang Trọng Ward, covers 99.78 hectares with a total investment capital of US$ 56.9 million. The project was approved in principle in April 2012 and received investment approval in May 2025.
After more than 12 years of operation, VSIP Quảng Ngãi Industrial Park 1 has attracted 44 projects with total FDI nearing US$ 1.5 billion from multiple countries and territories, creating jobs for about 40,000 local workers and contributing significantly to the province’s socio-economic development.

The VSIP II Quảng Ngãi Industrial Park Infrastructure Project, located in Đông Sơn Commune within the Dung Quất EZ, covers 497.7 hectares with a total investment of US$ 160.93 million. It was approved by the Prime Minister in December 2023 and is the first industrial project developed under the adjusted master plan for Dung Quất Economic Zone through 2045.
At the meeting, provincial departments addressed several of the company’s proposals and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting VSIP Quảng Ngãi in investment, production, and business activities

Secretary Hồ Văn Niên commended VSIP Quảng Ngãi for its vital contributions to local economic growth, employment generation, and social welfare. He assigned the Dung Quất EZ and Quảng Ngãi Industrial Parks Authority and relevant departments to coordinate in resolving the company’s requests promptly, and to report higher-level matters to central authorities.
He encouraged VSIP Quảng Ngãi to continue innovating, overcoming challenges, and successfully implementing its business strategies, thereby contributing to Quảng Ngãi’s economic development and improving local livelihoods.
