Experiencing many ups and downs in history, Đăk Răng village (Dục Nông commune, Quảng Ngãi province) still preserves the unique traditional cultural values of the Gié Triêng people because it has talented artisans with a strong passion for national culture.
Đăk Răng is a peaceful village located along Hồ Chí Minh road, in Dục Nông commune, Quảng Ngãi province. The village has 110 households with 348 people (100 per cent of Gié Triêng people).
Đăk Răng also preserves its traditional architecture of the ancient Gié Triêng community, along with unique cultural practices in community and household life, such as Gongs, folk songs, Cần wine, brocade weaving, instruments making, crafting tools for production, and family activities.
In 2024, Đăk Răng village was recognized as a community tourism village, thereby contributing to promoting tourism development, raising income for local people, and raising awareness for the younger generation in preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of the Gié Triêng people.
