On the afternoon of October 11, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hồ Văn Niên held a working session with the Standing Board of the Party Committee of Cẩm Thành Ward to assess local socio-economic development and the implementation of Party’s resolutions and plans.
Cẩm Thành Ward, located at the center of the province’s eastern urban area, was formed from the merger of four central wards of the former Quảng Ngãi City. The ward has well-developed urban infrastructure and is a hub for key administrative and economic activities.
In the first nine months of 2025, the ward’s total production value was estimated at over VNĐ 6,000 billion, up 9.72 per cent year-on-year, with state budget revenue reaching over VNĐ 31 billion, or 88.4 per cent of the provincial target.
During the 2025–2030 term, the Party Committee of Cẩm Thành Ward aims to accelerate digital transformation and develop high-quality trade and service industries, striving to build a “civilized, friendly, and modern” ward.
Speaking at the meeting, Secretary Hồ Văn Niên praised the ward’s efforts in implementing the two-level local government model and achieving positive results in administrative reform.
He urged Cẩm Thành ward to fully capitalize on its central position to drive economic growth, strengthen urban management, improve education, healthcare, and cultural activities, and maintain public order and safety.
He also emphasized the need to promote digital transformation, enhance Party building, and ensure an efficient, accountable, and disciplined local government apparatus.
