Member of the Party Central Committee and Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Trần Quang Phương, on July 8 met voters in Quảng Ngãi province following the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly.
The meeting took place in Cẩm Thành Ward and was connected online to various communes, wards and localities including Bình Sơn, Nghĩa Giang, Sơn Tịnh, Sơn Hà, Minh Long, Nghĩa Hành, Long Phụng, Ba Tơ, Đức Phổ, and Lý Sơn special zone.
At the meeting, voters were informed about key outcomes of the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly, including the adoption of 34 laws and 34 resolutions, and discussions on six other draft laws.
The NA also passed an amendment to the Constitution and made key decisions to reform and streamline the political system. Quảng Ngãi's NA deputies actively contributed to discussions during the session.
Voters expressed support and optimism for the recent historic decisions made by the Party, State, and National Assembly, especially those related to streamlining administrative structures and reorganizing local governments. They believed these changes would create breakthroughs in national development.
To ensure the effective functioning of the two-tier local government model—especially at the commune and ward levels—many voters called for stronger investment in technical infrastructure and greater focus on capacity-building for local officials.
In the context of digital transformation, voters also asked for enhanced support for citizens, especially the elderly and those in remote areas, when accessing public services.
Voters urged central and provincial authorities to allocate sufficient resources for socio-economic infrastructure, including transportation, healthcare, education, and culture, to improve local living standards.
Voters also called on National Assembly deputies to intensify supervision on key issues such as pricing and taxation of essential goods, counterfeit goods and low-quality products, and anti-corruption efforts.
In his remarks, NA’s Vice Chairman, Trần Quang Phương, thanked the voters for their valuable input and called for continued support for the Party and State’s policies, especially the two-tier government model.
He encouraged unity and patriotism in preparation for the upcoming Party Congresses and the 2026–2030 elections for the National Assembly and People’s Councils.
On this occasion, NA’s Vice Chairman Trần Quang Phương presented 15 gifts to families with meritorious service to the revolution, in celebration of the 78th War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2025).
