2025 targets
Nguyễn Hoàng Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, chaired a working session with Kon Braih, Đăk Kôi and Đăk Rve communes to review socio-economic performance, national defence and security in the first 10 months of 2025, and to direct key tasks for the coming period.
Reports from the localities show stable development in agriculture and forestry, with many key crops meeting or exceeding planned targets.
Livestock production has improved in both scale and quality, while forest plantation and protection have been effectively implemented.
Commerce and services have grown in line with orientations, contributing to economic restructuring, job creation and improved living standards.
State budget revenue and expenditure have been implemented largely in accordance with regulations, ensuring resources for socio-economic development.
Public investment disbursement has been given attention, with strong performance: as of November 2025, Kon Braih achieved over 95 per cent disbursement, Đăk Rve 46 per cent, and Đăk Kôi over 79 per cent.
Education, healthcare, social welfare and cultural-sport activities continue to receive focus.
Policies for people with meritorious services and social beneficiaries have been carried out promptly and in compliance with regulations.
The programme to eliminate temporary and dilapidated housing has also achieved positive results.
National defence and security remain stable, and social order and safety are ensured.
Administrative procedures and public service delivery continue to improve, with online payments on the National Public Service Portal promoted effectively.
Citizen reception and settlement of complaints and denunciations show positive outcomes.
At the meeting, localities also outlined challenges in task implementation and proposed solutions to facilitate future socio-economic development.
Requests included approval to draft or adjust planning schemes, investment in urgent projects such as anti-erosion embankments, school repairs, commune-centre infrastructure, degraded roads, water supply facilities and community bridges, as well as funding to address damage caused by floods and to repair deteriorated irrigation works.
In his concluding remarks, Chairman Nguyễn Hoàng Giang commended the efforts of local leaders and civil servants, especially their effective operation under the two-tier local government model, successful organisation of the first Party Congress at commune level, timely resolution of policy issues, efficient operation of public administrative service centres, development of key crops, social welfare support and maintenance of defence and security.
Chairman Nguyễn Hoàng Giang requested localities to shift their mindset, innovate and decisively implement socio-economic tasks in the remaining months of 2025 to contribute to achieving the province’s GRDP growth target and laying the foundation for the 2026–2030 period.
He stressed the need for breakthrough proposals aligned with resolutions of the central and provincial authorities; continued development of key agricultural products and OCOP items; preservation and promotion of the Rông cultural tradition as a signature tourism product; stronger coordination with departments and agencies to accelerate public investment projects; completion of the land-database campaign; and proper review and handling of public assets.
He assigned provincial departments and agencies to promptly review and address local proposals, particularly those related to funding for natural disaster recovery, investment in transport and irrigation infrastructure, capacity-building training for commune-level officials, and expediting the expansion of the “Ngọc Linh” geographical indication—ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the two-tier government model without creating new bottlenecks.
