In Vạn Tường Commune, strong waves combined with high tides caused severe erosion along about 250 meters of a concrete road leading to An Cường Beach. Several sections subsided by 30–50 cm, hindering transportation and local livelihoods.

In Tịnh Khê Commune, tidal surges caused heavy damage, flooding residential areas and damaging nearly 100 houses, many of which were seriously affected or collapsed. In An Kỳ Village alone, 60 households suffered major losses to homes, fences, shrimp ponds, and production facilities.

After surveying the affected sites, Vice Chairman Đỗ Tâm Hiển noted that erosion and tidal impacts were particularly severe in coastal areas. He urged local authorities to promptly repair damaged roads to restore transportation and support residents’ recovery.

The Vice Chairman assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment and related agencies to assess all storm-related damage and propose recovery support plans. The province will allocate resources and seek additional assistance from central authorities to help affected communities stabilize their lives and resume production as soon as possible.
