Quảng Ngãi accelerates completion of “accurate – sufficient – clean – live” land database by 30 November 2025

On 13 November, Vice Chairman Đỗ Tâm Hiển chaired a meeting to review the implementation of the provincial campaign to build and finalize the land database in line with the two-tier local government model.

Under Plan No. 43/KH-UBND dated 10 September 2025, the Department of Agriculture and Environment is carrying out a 90-day campaign to complete the provincial land database. The province has finished converting all data from VILIS to VBDLIS for 34 out of 34 commune-level units and has unified the provincial land information system.

More than 1.48 million land parcels have been recorded, including 899,011 parcels meeting the “accurate – sufficient – clean – live” standard; 584,120 parcels are being reviewed and supplemented.

The province has completed two rounds of data verification with the national population database, matching over 1.29 of 1.7 million records.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment is also cleaning 232,246 dossiers and creating more than 238,000 new records in localities lacking digital land data. The land information system has been connected with national databases and the tax authority while administrative procedures in the land sector are being restructured to reduce paperwork.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman Đỗ Tâm Hiển praised units with over 70 per cent completion and criticized localities below 50 per cent, requesting immediate review and corrective action.

He directed the Department of Agriculture and Environment to focus resources and coordinate with consultants and the Provincial Police to complete data cleaning and verification.

Chairpersons of commune-level local governments are responsible to the Provincial People’s Committee for completing tasks under Plan No. 43/KH-UBND, including transferring data to the provincial Land Registration Office before 15 November 2025.

The Vice Chairman called on all units to strengthen monitoring and promptly report obstacles to ensure the campaign is completed before 30 November, forming a comprehensive, accurate, and interconnected land database that effectively serves people and businesses.
