QUẢNG NGÃI— The Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Council (13th tenure, 2021–2026) held its fourth session on September 24 to review and decide on key issues under its authority.
The session was chaired by Nguyễn Đức Tuy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, alongside Vice Chairpersons Nguyễn Thế Hải and Nghe Minh Hồng.
Attendees included senior provincial leaders, National Assembly deputies, members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial People’s Committee, and representatives of local departments and agencies.
During the session, delegates discussed and approved four resolutions: adjustments to the medium-term and 2025 public investment plan, additions to the 2025 land recovery project list, approval for converting forest land for the Dung Quất–Sa Hùynh coastal road (Phase IIb), and new support measures for animal disease control.
The Council also voted to elect Nguyễn Công Hoàng and Đỗ Tâm Hiển as Vice Chairmen of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Committee for the 2021–2026 term.
In his closing remarks, Chairman Nguyễn Đức Tuy congratulated the newly elected vice chairmen and urged the provincial authorities to promptly complete the necessary approval procedures.
He also called on the Provincial People’s Committee to swiftly implement the resolutions and requested council members to actively report results to voters, strengthen oversight, and ensure that the decisions are effectively carried out in practice.
