Most of the structural works have been completed, while finishing works have reached 95 per cent and installation of electrical and water systems is underway.

The installation of equipment has achieved around 85 per cent progress.

Chairman Giang commended the efforts of the project’s investor and contractors, emphasizing that the project plays an important role in improving teaching and learning conditions, enhancing education quality, and upgrading the school’s facilities.

He urged all parties to accelerate progress and ensure quality standards so that the project can be completed ahead of schedule.

Inspecting the Southern Trà Khúc River bank anti-erosion and landscape project, Giang stressed its importance in enhancing the cultural, aesthetic, and urban landscape of the Center of Quảng Ngãi Province.

He requested the investor to mobilize maximum resources to ensure progress, quality, and visual harmony of the construction.

He also directed local authorities to expedite land clearance and compensation work to hand over the remaining site area to contractors as soon as possible.

The riverbank project, launched in December 2024, has a total investment of VNĐ 380 billion and is managed by the provincial Transport Works Construction Investment Project Management Board.

It involves building 1.2 km of embankment along the southern Trà Khúc River, upgrading Ba Tơ Park, developing a riverside park along Tôn Đức Thắng and Bà Triệu streets, and constructing a new section of Tôn Đức Thắng Street from Quang Trung to Trường Sa Street.

The project is currently 57 per cent complete and is expected to be finished by June 2026.
