QUẢNG NGÃI — Deputy Prime Minister Hồ Quốc Dũng on October 30 afternoon inspected landslide recovery efforts and visited residents affected by recent floods and landslides in Quảng Ngãi Province.
During the visit, he praised the close coordination among local authorities and agencies in implementing the “four-on-the-spot” principle — on-site leadership, manpower, materials, and logistics — which enabled the timely evacuation and support of residents, minimising human and property losses caused by the disaster.
Inspecting the landslide-affected Trà Lâm–Trà Hiệp road in Thanh Bồng Commune, Deputy Prime Minister Dũng commended local authorities for their proactive response and urged them to quickly mobilise forces and equipment to clear debris and reopen traffic, ensuring residents are not isolated for an extended period.
Expressing his sympathy for the difficulties and losses faced by local people, the Deputy Prime Minister visited and presented gifts to households in Group 5, Trà Xanh Hamlet, Thanh Bồng Commune.
He encouraged them to stay strong, overcome hardships, and soon stabilise their lives and resume production.
