On the morning of March 28, Tran Phuoc Hien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting of the Council responsible for appraising and recognizing communes that meet new rural standards, advanced new rural standards, and model new rural standards for the province's 2021-2025 period.
During the meeting, leaders from the Provincial Office of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction presented a summary of the results of new rural construction.
The examination of the commune criteria was discussed among the Steering Committee members, who voted unanimously to propose that the competent authorities recognize Long Hiep commune as having met new rural standards.
Additionally, Duc Minh, Nghia Hiep, and Pho Thuan communes were recommended for recognition as advanced new rural communes, with full consensus from the committee.
Vice Chairman Tran Phuoc Hien assigned the Provincial Office of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction to complete the necessary documentation and submit it to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
This submission will seek to officially recognize the aforementioned communes as meeting the new rural and advanced new rural standards, in accordance with regulations.
