The 1st Party Congress of the Party Committee of Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Committee’s Office
Quảng Ngãi - The Party Committee of the Office of Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Committee (the Party Committee of PPC’s Office) on July 15 held its 1st Congress for the 2025–2030 term. This marked an important milestone following the recent organizational restructuring and merger, with the attendance of Provincial People's Committee’s Chairman, Nguyễn Hoàng Giang.
Significant achievements
The political report presented at the Congress reviewed the achievements of the 2020–2025 term, acknowledged limitations, and identified key lessons.
Despite many socio-economic challenges, the Party Committee of PPC’s Office effectively led the Office in fulfilling its political tasks and contributing significantly to the province’s development goals.
The Party Committee of PPC’s Office prioritized building a strong, politically steadfast, and exemplary team of officials and Party members. Political education was strengthened through extensive dissemination of Party resolutions, guidelines, and State policies.
After the merger, the Party Committee of PPC’s Office includes 9 subordinate Party cells with 141 Party members.
The Provincial People's Committee’s Office has proactively coordinated with departments and agencies to assist the Provincial People’s Committee in issuing key work programs, organizing over 5,000 meetings to assess socio-economic progress, and preparing major provincial sessions. It has also helped issue over 100,000 official documents in accordance with regulations.
Notably, it made efforts in implementing provincial resolutions on administrative reform, achieving remarkable results and maintaining its top ranking in provincial administrative reform from 2021 to 2024.
During the Congress, three key presentations were delivered, including: “Studying and Following President Ho Chi Minh’s Ideals in Personnel Work,” “Applying IT and Promoting Digital Transformation in Office Operations,” and “Party Inspection and Supervision.” These discussions offered practical solutions to strengthen Party activities and fulfill political missions in the new term.
Provincial Chairman urges continued reform and excellence at Party Congress
Chairman Nguyễn Hoàng Giang praised the achievements of the Party Committee of PPC’s Office
Speaking at the 1st Party Congress of the Party Committee of PPC’s Office for the 2025–2030 term, Chairman Nguyễn Hoàng Giang praised the achievements of the Office’s Party Committee, leadership, members, and staff over the past term.
He emphasized that in the new term, the Office must meet higher and more comprehensive demands.
He called on the Party Committee to continue strengthening its leadership, build a clean, strong, streamlined, and effective political system, and focus on ideological education to enhance political awareness and integrity among officials and Party members.
Chairman Giang stressed the need to further restructure the organizational apparatus for efficiency, build a team of professional and ethical public servants with both strong moral character and practical skills, and develop future leaders through training and rotation.
He also encouraged promoting digital transformation, innovation, and performance-based evaluation, while enhancing collaboration with central and local agencies for timely and effective policy implementation.
Creating a professional, humane work environment with full benefits for employees was also highlighted as essential to long-term stability and motivation.
Chairman Giang affirmed that the newly appointed Executive Committee of the Office’s Party Committee comprises qualified, capable, and reputable members who will unite the organization and lead it toward success.
Establishing the Party Committee of PPC’s Office
The new Executive Committee includes 18 members
At the Congress, decisions were announced to establish the Party Committee of PPC’s Office and appoint its key leadership for the 2025–2030 term. The new Executive Committee includes 18 members.
Nguyễn Quốc Việt, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Chief of PPC’s Office, was appointed Secretary of the Party Committee of PPC’s Office.
Nguyễn Đăng Trình and Nguyễn Phước Bình, both Deputy Chiefs of PPC’s Office, were appointed Deputy Secretaries.
Nguyễn Quốc Việt, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Chief of PPC’s Office, was appointed Secretary of the Party Committee of PPC’s Office
Việt emphasized the significance of this first Congress, marking a major milestone for the Party Committee.
He called on all Party members to uphold unity, determination, and responsibility in implementing the Congress's resolutions and building a strong, clean, and modern Party organization for the new era, especially following the recent structural merger.
