After one and a half working days, the second session of the 13th Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Council, term 2021–2026, concluded on July 15 under the chairmanship of Nguyễn Đức Tuy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and Vice Chairpersons Nguyễn Cao Phúc, Nguyễn Thế Hải, Nghe Minh Hồng.

The session was attended by Central Party Committee Member and Provincial Party Secretary Bùi Thị Quỳnh Vân, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyễn Hoàng Giang, members of the Provincial Standing Committee, Vice Chairpersons of the Provincial People's Committee, delegates of the Provincial People’s Council, and representatives from provincial departments and localities.
During the session, delegates discussed and approved several key draft resolutions, including: regulations on service fees for online public services, budget allocations for asset procurement, funding for repair, renovation, and expansion of infrastructure projects, and the oversight program of the Provincial People’s Council in 2026.
The Council also approved a resolution on policies supporting public officials and employees from the former Kon Tum administrative units assigned to the new Quảng Ngãi provincial administrative center. These include housing and working conditions support policies.
The Council also approved the resolution outlining key tasks and solutions for socio-economic development in the second half of 2025.
Chairman Giang stressed that 2025 is a pivotal year, marking the final year of the 2021–2025 development plan, and the beginning of preparations for the 2026–2030 period, including Party Congresses at all levels leading up to the 14th National Congress. It is also the year for implementing the two-tier local government restructuring - an important milestone requiring renewed leadership thinking and streamlined, effective governance.

He called on all agencies and localities to clearly define their key tasks for the second half of 2025, focusing on fulfilling growth and development targets, improving coordination, overcoming delays, and ensuring efficient administration under the new two-tier model.
Chairman Giang also emphasized the urgency of advancing land clearance, accelerating public investment disbursement, effectively implementing the three national target programs, and striving to meet budget revenue goals.
Furthermore, he urged continued investment in cultural and social sectors, preparation for major key events and anniversaries, particularly the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution.

Delivering the closing speech, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Nguyễn Đức Tuy, noted that the session reviewed and approved 12 important resolutions on socio-economic development, finance, public investment, and other key matters.

He praised the preparation by the Standing Committee, the People's Committee, advisory agencies, and the dedicated participation of council delegates.
Chairman Tuy called on all Council members and political-social organizations to disseminate the approved resolutions widely to ensure these decisions are implemented effectively.
He also emphasized the need for all levels of government to take prompt action to implement the solutions approved at the session and to prepare a strong foundation for the next development phase.
