Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Tran Phuoc Hien, chaired a working session with representatives from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
They discussed and reached an agreement on several investment aspects for the construction of the Trade Union Social Housing project in Quang Ngai province.
The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor proposed the Provincial People's Committee to allocate a portion of the land within the project, which has an approved detailed construction plan at a scale of 1/500 for the Trade Union Institution Area in Quang Ngai.
This land would be used to build social housing aimed at meeting the rental needs of workers and laborers.
During the meeting, Vice Chairman Tran Phuoc Hien highlighted the project's significance in improving living conditions for workers, contributing to social stability, and fostering local economic development.
He expressed support for the recommendations and proposals from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor concerning the project.
The Vice Chairman committed to ensuring close coordination between the province and the Confederation to expedite the project's implementation, ensuring it is carried out effectively and on schedule.
He also urged relevant departments, and localities to provide maximum support so that the project can begin operations soon.
A representative from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor thanked the provincial leaders for their attention and support for the project.
They also said that in the near future, the Confederation would continue to collaborate actively with relevant agencies to complete the legal procedures and implement the project as planned.
