Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial Party Committee, Hồ Văn Niên, received Nghiêm Xuân Thành, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Khánh Hòa Provincial Party Committee, who led a working delegation to visit, encourage, and deliver financial assistance to help Quảng Ngãi overcome the consequences of recent floods.
Attending the reception were Nguyễn Hoàng Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Committee; Nguyễn Cao Phúc, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; and Y Thị Bích Thọ, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Việt Nam Fatherland Front Committee of Quảng Ngãi Province.
On behalf of the Party Committee, authorities, and people of Khánh Hòa, Secretary Nghiêm Xuân Thành expressed sympathy and solidarity with Quảng Ngãi, hoping the province will soon recover from the floods, restore production, and achieve its 2025 socio-economic targets as set out in the resolution of the 1stProvincial Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term.
Secretary Hồ Văn Niên expressed sincere gratitude for the timely support and goodwill from Khánh Hòa, saying that such encouragement would further strengthen Quảng Ngãi’s determination to overcome difficulties, stabilise livelihoods, and restore production after the disaster.
Recent heavy rains and flooding have caused severe damage in Quảng Ngãi, particularly in western mountainous areas where landslides have isolated several communities and damaged key transportation routes. Provincial authorities are conducting on-site inspections and mobilising resources to assist affected residents and help them stabilise their lives as soon as possible.
