QUẢNG NGÃI — December 12 — The Standing Board of the Party Committee of the Provincial People’s Committee on Friday held the second expanded meeting of its Executive Committee for the 2025–2030 term.
The meeting was co-chaired by Nguyễn Hoàng Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People’s Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.
Delegates discussed and approved reports on the implementation of tasks in 2025 and key objectives, targets and solutions for 2026, as well as a review of inspection, supervision and Party discipline enforcement in 2025.
In 2025, the Party Committee, its Standing Board and affiliated Party organisations fulfilled most assigned targets and tasks.
The Provincial People’s Committee and grassroots Party committees promptly concretised policies on socio-economic development and streamlined the administrative apparatus in line with central and provincial directives.
The province recorded positive socio-economic outcomes, with all 24 targets achieved, including six exceeding plans.
Cultural and sports activities were vibrant, while poverty reduction and social welfare received continued attention.
Price stabilisation measures were strengthened, administrative reform and digital transformation accelerated, and national defence and security maintained.
Party building work also saw notable progress, including effective political education, preparation for Party congresses at all levels and strengthened inspection and supervision.
Addressing the meeting, Nguyễn Hoàng Giang praised the efforts and determination of Party committees, agencies, units and enterprises, and urged them to uphold Party organisational principles, especially democratic centralism, while fostering unity and responsibility to successfully carry out political tasks in 2026.
On this occasion, former Secretary of the Party Committee of Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Nguyễn Thanh and former Standing Deputy Secretary Nguyễn Xuân Nam were awarded the Third-class Labour Order.
Eleven grassroots Party organisations were also commended for outstanding performance in 2025.
