The People's Committee of Quảng Ngãi Province has issued Plan No. 89/KH-UBND to strengthen communication and public awareness efforts related to the province’s socio-economic development and national defense-security tasks in 2025.
The plan aims to widely disseminate the province’s strategic directions and policies, shape public opinion, and foster consensus and support among the people for the leadership and administration of Party committees and government authorities.
It plays a key role in realizing the goals of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial Planning for the 2021–2030 period, with a vision toward 2050.
The communication campaign will focus on delivering timely, accurate, and official information on economic growth achievements, investment attraction, cultural and educational development, public healthcare, social welfare, digital transformation, scientific innovation, administrative reform, national defense, and foreign affairs.
Key priorities include: Strengthening cooperation with central media agencies in information dissemination; highlighting the effective implementation of provincial planning, efficient administration, digital transformation, administrative reform, investment environment promotion, mobilization and efficient use of resources; communicating progress on major projects including Dung Quất Economic Zone planning, the development of Lý Sơn Island as a marine tourism hub, and the establishment of a National Center for Oil Refining, Petrochemicals, and Energy.
Additionally, the plan promotes sustainable industrial development, agricultural restructuring, OCOP (One Commune One Product) programs, tourism growth, and the development of local cultural values.
It also supports the implementation of national target programs for cultural development and the realization of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
Public security communication will be enhanced to raise awareness about crime prevention, especially cybercrime and scams, and promote fire prevention, traffic safety, and marine resource protection (IUU fishing prevention).
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has been assigned to lead the implementation, ensuring effective media cooperation within the approved budget and in accordance with regulations.
All departments and localities are required to identify key tasks and major events in their sectors and coordinate regularly with the Department to provide timely, objective, and comprehensive information to the media, contributing to public trust and support for provincial development efforts.
