According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Quang Ngai province attracted about 109,600 visitors on the 2025 Lunar New Year’s holidays.
Some tourist attractions that attracted a large number of visitors include Son My relic with 1,600 visitors, Tinh Khe water coconut forest with 2,000 visitors, Ly Son Island with 2,500 visitors, Minh Duc pagoda with 32,000 visitors, Thien An pagoda and Huynh Thuc Khang's tomb with 5,000 visitors, and My Khe with 7,500 visitors.
Total revenue from tourism during the day was estimated at about 65 billion VND.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has guided tourism businesses in the province to implement the tourism activities during Tet’s holidays, focusing on building and offering diverse and attractive tours and destinations of the province such as: Ly Son Island, My Khe beach, Sa Huynh beach, Trang Waterfall, Thien An Pagoda, Minh Duc Pagoda, Dieu Giac Pagoda, and Truong Ba Temple.
Besides, it is necessary to integrate community and rural tourism destinations such as Go Co, An Khe lagoon, Son My, Binh Thanh, Bau Ca Cai, Ca Ninh water coconut forest, Tinh Khe water coconut forest, and Nghia Ha flower field.
The tourism sector has also directed tourism areas and spots to strengthen management, ensuring safety for residents and visitors during the peak season.
In addition, they should organize activities to restore domestic tourism and advertise them on Quang Ngai Tourism App, Quang Ngai Newspaper, and Quang Ngai Radio and Television Station.
