On November 26, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee Y Ngọc chaired a meeting to give opinions on preparations for the 2026 New Year Art Program and the Măng Đen – Cherry Blossom Cultural and Tourism Week.

At the meeting, leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism reported on preparations for the Heritage Week, the New Year Celebration Program, and the Măng Đen Cherry Blossom Festival 2026.
Accordingly, Heritage Week will feature a seminar on developing Lý Sơn into a national tourism site, exhibitions of cultural heritage and historical relics, and spaces for cultural performances and practices.
The New Year Celebration Program is scheduled for December 31, 2025, at Phạm Văn Đồng Square (Cẩm Thành ward) and 16 March Square (Kon Tum ward).
The Măng Đen Cherry Blossom Cultural and Tourism Week will take place from January 2-6, 2026, in Măng Đen commune, with activities including an OCOP food space, Arabica Coffee Contest, hot air balloon festival, eco-tourism tours, and a ceremony welcoming the first visitors to Quảng Ngãi in 2026.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairwoman Y Ngọc emphasized the need for detailed plans for each activity, ensuring continuity and effectiveness. She stressed that the New Year art program must reflect Quảng Ngãi’s identity, harmoniously combining coastal and Central Highlands culture to create a meaningful and distinctive event.
