The ceremony was attended by Politburo members, including National Assembly Chairman Trần Thanh Mẫn, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyễn Hòa Bình, and Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information and Education Nguyễn Trọng Nghĩa, along with other leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, and Fatherland Front; revolutionary veterans; representatives of central and local agencies, organizations, religious groups, armed forces, and the general public.

From Quảng Ngãi Province, the ceremony was attended by Provincial Party Secretary Bùi Thị Quỳnh Vân, Deputy Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Hoàng Giang, other provincial leaders, former leaders, officials, soldiers, youth, and local residents.
Leaders, comrades, and people across the nation paid their final respects to former President Trần Đức Lương — a dedicated communist, a respected national leader, and a shining example of moral integrity and commitment to the ideals of President Hồ Chí Minh.

At the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyễn Hòa Bình, Head of the State Funeral Committee, expressed profound gratitude for the heartfelt condolences and tributes from Party and State leaders, international friends, and compatriots at home and abroad.
On behalf of the Funeral Committee and the family, he extended sincere thanks to all who offered condolences, laid wreaths, and attended the funeral rites for former President Trần Đức Lương.
Following the burial rites, incense was offered by Party and State leaders, family members, and the people to bid farewell to the former President.
