On September 22, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee Y Ngọc chaired a meeting with the People’s Committee of Vạn Tường Commune on the restructuring of educational institutions in the locality.

Following the restructuring, the commune’s education network now comprises six schools, down from 17 previously, including two preschools, two primary schools and two secondary schools, with 277 classes and 9,361 students.
The commune currently has 25 school managers, including six principals and 19 vice principals, and 462 teachers assigned to main campuses and satellite campuses.
The schools have basically stabilized their organization and operations and have operated effectively since the beginning of the 2026–2027 academic year.
Concluding the meeting, Standing Vice Chairwoman Y Ngọc praised Vạn Tường Commune for implementing the restructuring in line with the province’s plan.

She requested the commune to continue stabilizing its organizational structure, improve school governance, and restructure management and support staff based on job positions, while prioritizing the allocation of teachers to classrooms.
The commune should also review and assess the post-restructuring results to promptly address difficulties and improve coordination and efficiency under the new model.
The commune was also asked to make effective use of school facilities and allocate teachers according to the number of students, classes and actual needs, including assigning teachers to teach at multiple schools when necessary. Schools must ensure sufficient textbooks for students, strengthen moral and life-skills education, and build safe, friendly learning environments free from school violence.
Standing Vice Chairwoman Y Ngọc also asked relevant departments and sectors to promptly advise on resolving the locality’s requests concerning staffing, funding, and policies and support for students and teachers.
