On September 5, the Hồ Chí Minh National Academy of Politics, in coordination with the Quảng Ngãi Provincial Party Committee, held a ceremony to announce the decision and present the certificate recognizing Quảng Ngãi Provincial Political School as meeting Level 1 standards. Politburo member and Director of the Hồ Chí Minh National Academy of Politics Đoàn Minh Huấn attended the ceremony and delivered remarks.
According to Nguyễn Viết Vy, Rector of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial Political School, the school has fulfilled all 6 major criteria groups and 51 component criteria, 11 of which exceeded the required standards. Notably, all lecturers hold master’s degrees or higher; more than 26,800 trainees were trained during the 2022-2026 period; AI has been applied to operate the “Smart School” model; and numerous research projects and policy recommendations have been adopted by the Provincial Party Committee.
He attributed these achievements to the close leadership of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial Party Committee, professional support from the Hồ Chí Minh National Academy of Politics and the efforts of generations of the school’s staff and lecturers.
Congratulating the province and the school, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đoàn Minh Huấn noted that the recognition reflects the school’s sustained efforts in cadre training, scientific research and practical reviews.
He asked the Provincial Party Committee to continue integrating the Political School into its cadre development strategy, link training with cadre planning, assignment, and utilization, and align training programs with the province’s key tasks.
He also called for continued investment in facilities and digital infrastructure, stronger research and policy consultation, innovation in training methods, digital transformation and development of a disciplined Party-school culture.
The school should maintain its Level 1 standards while preparing for Level 2 accreditation, he said, adding that the Academy will continue to support the school in this process.
Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hồ Văn Niên commended the school’s efforts and stressed that Level 1 recognition marks only the beginning of its development journey.

He asked the school to promptly implement the plan to achieve Level 2 standards by 2030, with practical results as the key measure.
Hồ Văn Niên affirmed that the province will continue to provide leadership, prioritize resources, upgrade technological infrastructure and develop appropriate mechanisms to help the school achieve Level 2 standards on schedule.
He also thanked the Hồ Chí Minh National Academy of Politics and central agencies for their continued support for Quảng Ngãi’s development.
