The Provincial People’s Committee has issued Plan No. 60/KH-UBND to implement the Government’s Resolution No. 298/NQ-CP dated September 26, 2025, on investment in building schools for border communes in the province.
The plan follows the Government’s Action Program under Politburo Notice No. 81-TB/TW dated July 18, 2025, on the policy of developing educational infrastructure in border areas.
All construction projects must comply with the resolution’s requirements and relevant legal regulations.
School designs will adopt an open and flexible model that reflects local ethnic cultures, terrain, natural conditions, and climate.
Projects will prioritize greenery, natural landscapes, and modern, sustainable facilities that ensure safety and functionality.
Depending on local needs and planning, schools may combine primary and lower secondary levels, and in some cases include upper secondary education.
The Department of Education and Training has been assigned to coordinate with relevant agencies and localities to advise the Provincial People’s Committee on establishing a provincial Steering Committee and Working Group for implementation. This must be completed before October 25, 2025.
