QUẢNG NGÃI — Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Hoàng Giang visited the library of Hành Minh Secondary School in Phước Giang Commune on December 17.
He was accompanied by leaders of the Provincial People’s Committee Office, the Department of Health, representatives of the Việt Nam Library Project Organisation, the provincial Children’s Protection Fund, and local authorities of Phước Giang Commune.
During the visit, Chairman Nguyễn Hoàng Giang inspected the newly built library facility and requested the school’s management board to operate and utilise the library effectively, creating an optimal learning environment in line with current education and training reforms.
The Hành Minh Secondary School library was funded by the Việt Nam Library Project Organisation through coordination with the provincial Children’s Protection Fund, with a total investment of nearly VNĐ2.5 billion.
The two-storey facility covers more than 210 square metres and was completed after nearly four months of construction.
The library is equipped with a television, six computers, more than 1,000 book titles and various modern facilities, helping meet the learning, research and reading skill development needs of 390 students and 26 teachers and staff of the school.
