Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, Y Ngọc, on August 27, chaired a meeting to review preparations for the construction of schools in the border communes of Quảng Ngãi province.
At the meeting, Director of the Department of Education and Training Nguyễn Ngọc Thái reported on the implementation plan, which includes building nine inter-level boarding schools from primary to secondary level across the communes of Mô Rai, Rờ Kơi, Bờ Y, Dục Nông, Sa Loong, Đăk Long, Đăk Plô, Ia Đal, and Ia Tơi. Each school will have 30 - 47 classrooms, accommodating over 1,000 students, and will include boarding facilities for both students and teachers.

Project surveys, site planning, and feasibility studies have been completed. Local authorities are now handling land clearance and compensation procedures.
The groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for November 2 at the Dục Nông Inter-level Boarding School.
Vice Chairwoman Y Ngọc emphasized the importance of close coordination among departments and localities to complete all necessary procedures on time, ensure construction quality, safety, and progress, and strictly comply with investment and construction regulations.

The Provincial Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Transport, Civil, and Industrial Works will take the lead in project preparation, while the Department of Education and Training will oversee progress and resolve any issues.
The Provincial Military Command and Provincial Police are assigned to maintain security and safety during the construction process, especially at the groundbreaking ceremony.
