On December 16, Chairman of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Hoàng Giang attended the inauguration ceremony of the STEM Education Practice Room at Lê Khiết High School for the Gifted.

The STEM Practice Room is part of the STEM Innovation Petrovietnam Program, with a total investment of VNĐ 3.5 billion, sponsored by the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam). Built to international standards, the facility is fully equipped with modern technologies to support hands-on learning, innovation, and scientific research for students.
Speaking at the ceremony, Director of the Department of Education and Training Nguyễn Ngọc Thái emphasized that STEM education plays a vital role in the comprehensive reform of education, helping students develop scientific thinking, creativity, digital skills, and interdisciplinary problem-solving abilities.
The new STEM Practice Room provides a modern learning environment, contributing to the improvement of high-quality education, the identification and nurturing of talented students, and the training of high-quality human resources for the province and the country.
In Quảng Ngãi Province, Petrovietnam has funded the construction of three STEM education practice rooms at three schools, with a total investment of VNĐ 10.5 billion.

On this occasion, the Group also awarded 30 scholarships to outstanding students of Lê Khiết High School for the Gifted.
