On August 28, Y Ngoc, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Y Ngọc chaired a meeting to review project progress and preparations for the 2026–2027 academic year opening ceremony and the inauguration of boarding schools for primary and secondary levels across mainland border communes.

Regarding preparations for the new academic year, the Department of Education and Training, in coordination with local authorities, has fundamentally finalized conditions across all four schools. Student enrolment and the provision of personal supplies and learning materials have also been largely completed.

Preparations for the joint opening and inauguration ceremonies are on track at all four sites. At the Primary and Secondary Boarding School in Dục Nông commune, relevant agencies are finalizing the detailed event agenda.
Concluding the meeting, Standing Vice Chairwoman Y Ngọc approved the timeline for the dual ceremony across the border communes. She directed local authorities to streamline the agenda within the designated timeframe, ensuring a solemn, safe, cost-effective, and efficient event.
The Department of Education and Training will collaborate with the Provincial People's Committee Office to finalize the program and review all logistical arrangements. Meanwhile, provincial media agencies are tasked with finishing the event featurette and stepping up coverage.
Localities and departments must promptly execute their assigned tasks and report any arising difficulties to the Provincial People's Committee for timely direction.
