The Chairman of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Committee has issued Plan No. 29/KH-UBND to implement Government Resolutions No. 138/NQ-CP and 139/NQ-CP, along with the Provincial Party Committee’s Plan No. 15-KH/TU, on private sector development.
The plan aims to thoroughly implement key policies and solutions to foster private economic growth, thereby contributing to the province’s socio-economic goals.
By 2030, Quảng Ngãi targets around 19,500 active enterprises, including at least one large enterprise participating in global value chains.
The private sector is expected to achieve an average growth rate of 10–12 per cent per year, higher than the overall economy, contribute 55–56 per cent of GRDP, account for 35–40 per cent of budget revenue, and create jobs for 84–85 per cent of the local workforce.
Labor productivity is projected to grow by about 8.5 per cent annually.
Quảng Ngãi also strives to be among the top 15 provinces nationwide in technology capacity, innovation, and digital transformation by 2030.
Looking ahead to 2045, the province envisions a dynamic and sustainable private sector, fully integrated into global supply chains, with strong competitiveness at both regional and international levels.
By then, Quảng Ngãi aims to have at least 25,000 enterprises, contributing over 60 per cent of GRDP.
